Born ‎± 1251‎ ⁵⁾ Died ‎± Aug 1321‎, approximately 70 years ³⁾ ⁶⁾ Married ‎before 1308 ⁷⁾ ⁴⁾ (at least 1 years married) to: ‎ Joan de Ferrers‏‎ ⁴⁾ Daughter of William de Ferrers, 5th Earl of Derby and Margaret de Quincy‏. Died ‎19 Mar 1309 Child: 1. ‎ Maurice de Berkeley, 2nd Baron Berkeley‏‎ ⁸⁾ ²⁾ Born ‎± 1281‎ ³⁾ Died ‎± Feb 1326/27‎, approximately 45 years ²⁾ Notes: Maurice has his castles, manors and lands seized by Edward II in the 15th year of his reign. Edward II identified Maurice as contrary to Hugh le Despencer, the younger, and a rebel.
