Notes: The 1851 and 1861 censuses identify Robert as being born c 1795, whereas the 1841 census identifies him as being born c1811. Place of birth is identified as Long Horsley in the 1861 census, and Long Framlington in the 1851 census. If John Dixon's 1861 census record is considered accurate (which is less than certain given the unusual occupation - though every other detail correctly matches), then Robert Dixon has a sister, Margaret, born c1812, at Longhorsley.

All three census records would seem to be for the same family - the parents and childrens' names match - and ages of the children (and Mary) align reasonably across censuses, and the presence of the middle name "Henderson", which is also Robert's mother's name further supports them being the same family.

On the contrary... baptism records for Longhorsley and Long Framlington introduce the positibility that there were two couples, with a husband called Robert, and a wife called Mary.
1821 at Long Framlington - Elizabeth to Robert and Mary. this daughter was either born pre-marriage, or to a separate couple
1835 at LH - John
1833 at LH - Stephen Henderson
1827 at LH - Thomas

Identifying Robert's parents is problematic. There is a:
1) Robert, illegitimate son of Robert, baptised 6 January 1795 at Longhorsley
2) Robert, son of Thomas, of Westerhough and Margaret, baptised 25 December 1794 at Long Framlington

From a date perspective, both records are equally viable. Given the different birth locations on the censuses, neither can be preferred to the other. Option 2 may be very slightly preferable as Margaret's surname is Henderson, which is a middlename Robert gives to his son Stephen. Neither seems to be buried as a child.

Working from Margaret Jackson - her 1851 census identifies her as a publican and dressmaker.
