Family

man William Walweyn‏‎ 1)
Died ‎between 1431 and 1445 2) 1)

Notes: Identified as father of William Walweyn of Bickerton on basis of inheritance of Bickerton and Ruardene. Supported by PCC wills.

Married ‎before 1411 3) (33 or 34 years married)
to:

woman Ellen Hathaway‏‎ 4)
Born ‎± 1363‎ 5)
Died ‎± 1445‎, approximately 82 years 1) 6)

Notes: Ellen who was a widow of William Walwyn in 1445 was a co-heir, with her sisters, of the Ruardene property. Given Ellen was a coheir, her husband cannot be the son of Isabel's husband.

Child:

1.
man William Walweyn‏

Notes: Of Bickerton.

This William Walweyn is not the same individual as the William Walweyn of Longford who married Jane Whitney. This is best evidenced by the descent of Longford manor - which was to be inherited by the heirs of William and Joan (CP 25/1/83/56) - and went to John Walweyn of Longford, as opposed to Alice - the heir to this William and Joan.
