Henry de Dene 1) 2) Son of William de Dene and Isabel Unknown. Born before 1238 3) Died ± Mar 1291/92 2) Notes: Attempts can be made to trace the de Denes back through multiple further generations, in around the Forest of Dene, based on pipe rolls and surviving records for the abbey at Flaxley. These preceding generations are not shown here given the significant uncertainties and assumptions that must be made. Henry held land in Great and Little Dene and an homage in St Briavels, held of the inheritance of Agatha, his wife. Married before 1260 4) to: Agatha de Lasborough 2) Daughter of William de Lasborough and N.N.. Born ± 1240 4) Notes: Sole heiress to her father. Her inheritance included lands in Lasborough subsequently held by the "de Dene" and "de Abenhall" families. Child: |
