man Conrad I of Swabia, Duke of Swabia‏‎
Born ‎between 915 and 920
Died ‎Aug 997‎ 1)

Notes: Conrad's identity is very confused, with multiple possible parents conjectured. What is certain is that Conrad had a brother, Count Heribert (Thietmar), and the deaths of both are recounted by Thietmar in a story alongside other relatives of Otto III of Germany, suggesting some form of connection.

Known relatives (from Thietmar):
Brother: Count Heribert (died 997)
Nephew: Otto the son of Count Heribert, who is also described as a cousin of Thietmar. Otto married Irmgard, and their relationship was consanguineous
Nephew: Gebard the son of Count Heribert, who is also described as a cousin of Thietma

Ita of Ohningen's father is stated as Kuno of Ohningen. Recent scholarship by Hlawititschka and Wolf make the case that Kuno is the same as Conrad of Swabia.

Notes: Conrad's wife is uncertain. She is often said to be Reglint (or Richlind), daughter of Liudolf, Duke of Swabia, and thus a granddaughter of Emperor Otto I. His wife could also have been Judith, daughter of Adalbert of Marchtal.
