Will signed: Yeoman, formerly of the hole in the parish of Simonburn and county of Northumberland, late of Hott Hill in the parish of Bellingham ‎10 Jan 1782 Bellingham, Northumberland, England 3)

Notes: Of "Clues" (at least until 1725) then later of "The Hole" (between c1725 and c1743) in the parish of Simonburn and later of "Hott Hill" and Kidlow. There are burial records dated 2nd and 6th April 1783 for Thomas - one at Bellingham, and one at Kirkharle. They seem to be for the same individual.

Thomas Heron's will identifies the following individuals:

Notes: Andrew's brother, Thomas Heron, left a will dated 1810 - which was subsequently subject to litigation. https://iiif.durham.ac.uk/index.html?manifest=t1m3484zh26t&canvas=t1tg445cp76z

The litigation (which includes a copy of a disputed will, but not the final will) identifies Andrew's siblings and immediate family:
Brother John Heron and sister Ann Heron (both living with Thomas Heron)
Brother William Heron of The Heigh, Hexhamshire, Northumberland - and his children; Thomas Heron, Margaret Heron, William Heron, Mary Heron
Sister Elizabeth Arthur, widow of Kirkharle - and her children; Thomas Arthur, Isabella Arthur, Mary Arthur
Ann wife of Matthew Gills of the Hot, Simonburn, cartwright
Ann Batey, daughter of Thomas Batey of the hot / Hot Hill, husbandman
Ann, daughter of Thomas Breckons (a friend of Thomas Heron)
Ann Hunter, daughter of Thomas Hunter of Hot Hill, Simonburn, joiner
Ann Batey, daughter of James Batey (at that time living with Thomas Heron), husbandman
William Breckons, son of Thomas Breckons
Margaret, wife of Thomas Breckons
Andrew Heron, son of the late Andrew Heron (brother of Thomas) - this Andrew
Mary Heron, daughter of Andrew, married to John Hunter of Kirkharle, joiner
Nicholas Lowes, son of Benjamin Lowes, of the Black Carts near Walwick, husbandman
Mary, daughter of Thomas Forster of Bellingham, labourer
Elizabeth, wife of Benjamin Lowes, of the Black Carts
Thomas Breckons and William Batey named executors

Through the litigation other kinships are identified, primarily further relatives of William Baty, who stands accused of falsifying, a will to include new legatees, including:
Mary Forster, is a daughter of William Baty
Ann, wife of Matthew Gills is a daughter of William Baty
Mary wife of William Baty, is a sister to Thomas Heron (Andrew's brother)
Another Mary Baty, married Giles (or James?) Batey, son of the William Batey
Thomas Heron was a nephew of the said testator
Robert Scott married a niece of the said Thomas
"Thomas Heron Hunter, one of the legatees named in Thomas Heron's will married a niece of the testator who is another of the therein named." Thomas Heron Hunter's wife was named Mary Baty. Therefore if Mary Baty is to be a niece of the testator (Thomas Heron), then Mary must be a daughter of a Baty and a Heron. And the Heron must be a sister to Thomas Heron. This must mean that Mary, wife of William Baty (identified in the litigation as a sister to Thomas Heron), is mother of Mary Baty, and William Baty is her father.
"That Mary Hunter a legatee named in the will of said Thos Heron is daughter to the said William Batey" which further supports this

Andrew also left his own will which identifies the following individuals:
Grandson Thomas Hunter, son of John Hunter of Kirkharle
Grandaughter Margaret Hunter, daughter of John
Son Andrew Heron
